LOGAN has a $100,000 matching grant opportunity through the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County—every dollar you give is doubled to support a new group home in Mishawaka for 8 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
 

Why This Matters For parents of individuals with IDD, the question "What happens to my child when I'm gone?" weighs heavily. Group homes like ours provide a life-changing answer: safe, dignified, independent living with 24/7 professional support—not institutional care or nursing homes.
 

The Project As part of our 75th anniversary in November 2025, we're building a custom 4,100 sq ft home designed specifically for our residents' needs:

• Fully ADA accessible with roll-in showers and wide hallways

• 8 private bedrooms with spacious common areas

• Covered porch, horseshoe driveway, and landscaped yards

• Purpose-built for comfort, dignity, and independence

 

Construction begins soon on Catalpa Street in Mishawaka, with residents moving in by the end of 2026.
