Darden- LOGAN Program @ Darden Elementary in partnership with SBCSC

 

This unique and innovative partnership has been a work in progress since October of 2020. As many people know, merging ABA and education in a school setting has long been an uphill battle. With support from leadership of both organizations we have slowly built and developed the path forward to having an inclusive ABA classroom that supports students that need more intensive 1:1 support, in efforts to get them ready for transition into an appropriate classroom setting. Through the years of partnership we have developed relationships with Special Education, Life Skills, and General Ed teachers, along with many other school personnel. This has allowed us to push in and out of classrooms to support students and also extend our expertise to consultation with the school system. We are continuing to work on a system that integrates LOGAN into the continuum of services for students that need supports and are very hopeful to continue to see this partnership grow.
