SOUTH BEND, Indiana (June 21, 2018) Brennan Besser, a Duke University basketball player, and his sister, Rachel Besser, are traveling coast to coast to shine a spotlight on the challenges faced by their sister, Jacqueline, and others with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Brennan is bicycling the route; his sister Rachel and entourage are traveling by car. Along the way, they are stopping in communities to share their story and their mission.
Brennan and Rachel will spend the afternoon in South Bend Wednesday (June 27, 2018) at Hannah & Friends Neighborhood, where Brennan will conduct a basketball clinic for about 75 youth and adults served by LOGAN and Hannah & Friends. Hannah & Friends is located at 51250 Hollyhock Road, South Bend. The media is welcome to attend.
LOGAN, based in South Bend, Indiana, is a not-for-profit organization offering resources and opportunities to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they, and their families, may achieve their desired quality of life.
