She’s making LOGAN history by joining us for the 32nd annual Great LOGAN Nose-On. We are excited to announce Ali Stroker will be the keynote speaker for The Great LOGAN Nose-On Luncheon on March 23, 2020.

All about Ali

Broadway and television star Ali Stroker was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey and studied at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Ali has been in a wheelchair since the age of 2 following a car crash that left her paralyzed from the chest down. She made history as the first actress in a wheelchair to appear on Broadway when she originated the role of ‘Anna’ in the 2015 revival of Spring Awakening. On June 9, 2019, Ali became the first ever wheelchair-bound performer to win a Tony Award for Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as Ado Annie in Oklahoma!

After graduating from Tisch, Ali starred on 12 episodes of the talent competition, The Glee Project. She placed second and won a guest role on Fox’s Glee. She then recurred in the Kyra Sedgwick ABC series, Ten Days in the Valley. She also guest starred on Fox’s Lethal Weapon and CBS’ Instinct.

A humanitarian and advocate, Ali has been a co-chair of Women Who Care, which supports United Cerebral Palsy of New York City. She’s a founding member of Be More Heroic, an anti-bullying campaign which toured the country connecting with thousands of students each year. Her devotion to educating and inspiring others brought Ali to South Africa with ARTS InsideOut, where she held theater workshops and classes for women and children affected by HIV and AIDS.

Ali’s exceptional ability to improve the lives of others through the arts, disabled or not, is captured in her motto: “Turning Your Limitations Into Your Opportunities.” Learn more about Ali at
