Register today for annual LOGAN’s Run

SOUTH BEND, Indiana (July 12, 2018) – Register today for the 15th annual LOGAN’s Run, which takes place on Saturday, August 4. Each year, more than 1,500 runners and walkers take part in the event to raise awareness, advocacy and support for children, adults and families living with the challenges of intellectual and developmental disabilities. The race features chip-timed 10k and 5k runs and a 1-mile Fun Walk, all on a trail weaving through the northern edge of the Notre Dame campus.

“LOGAN’s Run has become a tradition and highlight of the summer for many people in our community,” said Jill Langford, Chief Development Officer. “It’s for anyone, of any ability. It’s just an amazing day for everyone; something we really look forward to.”

On race day, the free Family FunFest opens at 9 a.m., just after the runners leave the starting line. Games, kiddie rides, a bounce house, balloon art, face painting and other activities will all be on hand. Following the race, participants can take part in a free pancake and sausage breakfast.

The cost to register in advance at www.runwithlogan.org is $12 for the 1-mile walk, $25 for the 5K and $30 for the 10K. Create a team of five or more and receive a $5 discount. All proceeds help pay for the vital services LOGAN offers to children, adults and their families.
