SOUTH BEND, Indiana (April 16, 2018) –Matt Harrington, President and Chief Executive Officer of LOGAN, is pleased to announce a donation of $30,000 was received from the employees of Four Winds Casinos. The donation, in support of the annual LOGAN Nose-on, was presented to Director of Development Patrick Roemer from Scott Brewer, Senior Vice President Government Affairs, and others from Four Winds.
Nearly 1,200 employees, representing every Four Winds Casino property, participated in the month-long fundraising effort. March is known as “Nose-on” month; a time when area businesses and schools host fundraising events to raise awareness and money for LOGAN programming and services.
“There are so many ripple effects created in our region through the LOGAN Nose-on,” Roemer said. “One of those is the outpouring of support that comes from area employees and students. They wrap themselves in this event, in the mission and spirit of it, and respond so generously. We’re grateful to Four Winds for creating an environment where their employees are excited about participating in fundraising efforts that support our community.”
