Once Upon a Nose…The Nose-On Story

It all began way back in 1988, when LOGAN came up with the unusual idea of selling green noses to raise money and awareness in support of our mission to serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Great LOGAN Nose-On Luncheon

LOGAN’s signature fundraising and awareness raising event, The Great LOGAN Nose-On takes place annually during the month of March. Green dot yard signs, green foam noses and lots of fun events take over our community each year. Keynote Speaker, Heath White

We are pleased to announce our special guest speaker at the 2016 LOGAN Nose-On luncheon is Heath White, presented by PNC Bank. Heath is a former military pilot, airline pilot, law enforcement officer, and endurance runner who has ran over 30 marathons. For the first 33 years of his life, Heath sought perfection, graduating with a Masters in Aeronautical Science and a cumulative 4.0 graduate and undergraduate GPA. It’s the famous Mint Chocolate Nose!  The South Bend Chocolate Company has coated their signature chocolate malt balls with mint to resemble the famous green foam noses people purchase and wear during the month of March to show their support for people with disabilities.
