HABIILATION INSTRUCTOR - LOGAN Center’s Community Habilitation program is hiring for a Habilitation Instructor. The Habilitation Instructor will actively participate as member of a team to support individuals with developmental disabilities in small groups in the community. Responsibilities of this position are to provide a positive environment for individuals in the community five days a week with volunteer task and/or recreation leisure opportunities. The Habilitation Instructor will maintain a caseload of daily documentation and submit semi/annual reports for persons served. Candidates with computer knowledge of Microsoft XP, Word & Excel a plus and one year working with individuals with developmental disabilities are preferred. Reliable transportation necessary, a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Employees are expected to use their personal vehicles for all transportation related to the performance of the job except in situations where the nature of the work requires the use of an agency vehicle, such as one that is wheelchair accessible or accommodates a larger group. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. This is a full-time position; 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., or as assigned by supervisor.
