Many people have learning disabilities which usually cannot be seen but are very real for the people who have them. It is important to remember that people with learning disabilities usually have above average intelligence. But, often they may have difficulty reading because they see the words differently on a page or their mind processes the words differently. This is what a story might look like to someone that has dyslexia or another learning disability.
