Do you suspect that your child might have autism? Autism is a developmental disability that affects an individual’s social interaction, communication, and the way they relate to people, objects and events. It can also involve restricted or intense interests in a specific topic or repetitive behaviors or play. In addition, individuals with autism may be over-or under-sensitive to sensory information (sight, touch, smells, sounds, movement). The characteristics of autism may or may not be apparent in infancy, but usually become apparent in very early childhood (first 2-3 years).
ABA THERAPY
ABA Therapy is based on the science of learning and behavior.* One-on-one educational and behavioral programs that focus on teaching adaptive behaviors, life skills, language, and academic skills at any of our locations, including our specialized program for adolescents at the Sonya Ansari Center for Autism in South Bend.

AGE-APPROPRIATE GUIDANCE
We know it’s not just young children with ASD who need support. Teens and young adults have many options at LOGAN as well, including social coaching, recreation clubs, and a girls-only group. Participants plan social activities, outings, and training on topics of their interest.
BEHAVIOR COUNSELING
Our board-certified behavior analysts work with families, schools, and other professionals to create behavior plans, educational goals, and individualized support to help with any areas of concern.
COLLEGE PLANNING
We help families prepare their child for life after high school by providing resources and assistance navigating the college selection process. Download this PDF for more information on college options.
P.L.A.Y. PROJECT
The P.L.A.Y. Project is a home consulting program that provides training and support for families of children with autism.
SOCIAL SKILLS
Classes for school-age children teach basic social skills, offer role-playing and practice, and reinforce positive social interactions. Individualized and group social coaching is offered for teens and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Click here for more information.
